Do you ever feel like you run out of all your beauty products at once? Well I definitely did this last month, so I paid a visit to my local Mecca Cosmetica store. I picked up three things while I was there, two of which I didn’t need but oh well. I grabbed some skincare from Sunday Riley, and some makeup bits from NARS. These are easily two of my favourite brands stocked at Mecca!
Sunday Riley – Ceramic Slip Cleanser
This cleanser is seriously legit. First off, let me just list what this bad boy has in it. We’re talking French green clay, Moroccan Rhassoul lava clay, vitamin C, neroli, blacker pepper, frankincense?! and some sandalwood essential oils. The ingredients basically work together as a natural detoxifier for your skin, whilst ensuring moisture isn’t stripped. The first time I used this cleanser I could literally see it drawing the dirt in my skin out. I’ve never felt so clean. Hopefully the clay will work wonders on my temperamental skin and control some oiliness! The scent is very essential oil based, so it smells very natural and comforting. Sunday Riley comes with a bit of a price tag, but I’m super into taking care of my skin so personally, I think it’s worth it. You can check out their other stuff here!
NARS – Eyeshadow Primer & Multiple in Copacobana
I’ve heard some really good things about the NARS eyeshadow primer, so when Laura at Mecca recommended it I thought I’d give it a go! So far, so good. My eyeshadow has been lasting way longer since using this, and looks as if I’ve just applied it for the whole day. As for the highlighter, Laura again recommended it after I told her I wanted a cream highlight that wasn’t “wet”. The colour is a weird but brilliant mix of silvery purple tones and looks really good on my pale skin.
