My Everyday Makeup

It’s taken me a while to find the perfect combination of products that I can reach for daily and be happy with the outcome every single time, but I can finally say I’ve narrowed my list down to my holy grail products that I cannot live without. I don’t wear drugstore makeup at all, I’ve never found anything at all that is worth the hype and my skin is so sensitive that cheap products tend to make me break out in hives – not ideal, and not worth a bargain. This is a positive though when it comes to receiving gift boxes from Mecca Cosmetica for being a large spender, which is always a treat! So, without further adieu, here is the breakdown of my every day face – enjoy!

Base – NARS Liquid Illuminator in Hot Sand, NARS Pure Radiance Tinted Moisturiser & NARS Sheer Glow Foundation

I prime with the NARS liquid illuminator as it’s quite a sticky formulation, which helps to increase the coverage of both Sheer Glow and the Tinted Moisturiser and adds a glowy-ness to my skin without having to go overboard on the highlight!

Concealer – NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

I can’t rave about this concealer enough, it’s moussey formula means that it can cover almost anything you need it to but stays on the skins surface without looking cakey and thick.

Powder – Becca Translucent Blotting Perfecting Powder

Does the job just right and still keeps my skin looking dewy and alive.

Cheeks – Hoola Bronzer & Hourglass Mood Lighting Ambient Lighting Blush

Hoola bronzer is such an old school product but when it comes to warming up my pale skin, it’s such a winner for me. It’s warm enough to make me look like I’ve caught a wee bit of sun but can be used to contour as well – the perfect combo. Mood Lighting is also probably the best blush colour I’ve ever used for my pale and olive-y complexion, but staying true to Hourglass tradition, it has flecks of gold in it to make sure you get the perfect wash of colour and highlight in one go.

Brows – Chichi Brow Pomade

Makes my brows look like my best brows. ‘Nuff said.

Eyes – Stila Eyes Are The Window palette in Soul & Stila Huge mascara

I use the colour “Light” all over my lid up to my brow bone, the colour “Individual” in my crease to give my eyes some depth, and the colour “Being” smoked along my lash line and outer V. This combo is great for every day, and the warm tones in this brown/nude palette are great for green eyes like mine. Stila Huge is an amazing mascara, it lifts, makes my lashes nice and thick and separates them enough to look like I’m wearing falsies! Only down side is that it can be kinda smudgy after a long day.

Finishing Touches – Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

All three shades, all over the face with a big fluffy brush instantly makes you look 12 times more awake than you probably are!
