Now that winter has well and truly shown its colours (mostly grey with a touch of, well grey) it’s time to start pulling out those chunky knits we all live in through July and August! I went shopping recently and was pretty stunned to see next to no knitwear available in the shops? Obviously I get that they are a little bit ahead of the seasons but it’s only just started to get cold and I only have a couple of thick jumpers! I did a hunt online and found a few that I liked, so I thought I’d share as you might be in the same, very cold boat as me! Enjoy x
This knit is right up my alley! The high neck, tight cuffs and slouchy look is perfect for days you wanna bundle yourself up in a blanket and stay in bed.
I love the idea of something that can be worn really casually like this but still be soft and warm. This would be perfect for my new job, as the office can get a little chilly and it’s nice to have something to wrap around you!
Has anyone noticed I’m obsessed with pink lately? Buying a basic style roll neck like this one in a brighter colour is a great way to add a pop of colour into some pretty grey days.
This is one of my favourite jumpers on this list. The grey and white block stripes are super chic and statement without being over the top. The fabric looks warm but not itchy which is perfect! I can imagine this tucked into some culottes and sneakers.
I don’t know why this jumper appeals to me so much! The tie neck detailing, roll sleeves and crop cut are all basic features of a winter jumper, and the ripped tassels adds a point of difference. A bit more expensive than the others but definitely a unique piece!
Let me know which pieces you’re loving from this list and make sure you stay warm over the next few weeks!
Thanks for reading! Love, Lyd x
