Spring is a strange time in terms of weather. You wake up in the morning with an idea of what you wanna wear that day, except it’s way colder than you expected. So you trade the skirt for the jeans and pop an extra layer under your top, but before you know it, you’re walking from class to class (if you’re at uni that is!) with your sleeves rolled up in a total hot mess. I hate getting dressed for Spring, I never get it right! I’m always too hot or too cold, or I’m wearing a thin jacket and it’s raining. Typical New Zealand huh? This is where transitional jackets come in. I’ve picked 3 jackets from the ASOS website that I would totally work into all my spring outfits in order to make sure I’m good to go – rain or shine.
The Yellow Bomber – this jacket is the perfect colours for spring! Yellow and blush pink are super cute together, and make for a surprisingly neutral combo. Without being too thick, this jacket will shield you from the wind without causing heat stroke.
The Embroidered Leather Jacket – florals? for spring? groundbreaking. But seriously, who doesn’t love a good leather jacket all year round.
The Blush Pink Brushed Jacket – jackets like these are so good for a quick throw on whether you want an extra layer over shorts and a tee, or over a t-shirt dress.
Hope this gave you a little inspo for when you’re staring blankly into your wardrobe this spring!
Love, Lydia xo
