An Addition To My Hydrating Skin Care Routine

As the weather is starting to cool down, my skin is starting to need a little extra hydration! Seeing as the rest of my skin care is Mario Badescu, I decided to have a look at the serums that the range has. I have been using the acne cleaner from Mario Badescu to clear my skin, and I felt like I needed counteract the salicylic acid and add some nourishment back into my face! The first one that caught my eye was the one I’m gonna be telling you about today – enjoy!

Mario Badescu Herbal Hydrating Serum

This serum is formulated for all skin types, to provide a boost of nourishing hydration. You can use it alone, or layered over moisturiser for dryer skin. The serum contains ginkgo extract, ginseng and ceramides which are all ingredients used for hydrating the skin. So far, so good with this little guy! I have been using this at night rather than twice daily as my makeup can get a little oily throughout the day anyway, so for now I’m sticking to just moisturiser in the morning. I struggle with a little bit of eczema on my face too, and this hasn’t irritated it at all. In fact, the areas that I get eczema have started to clear up which is a major bonus.

I’m sure you’ll see this in my April round up, but for now – I’m continuing to use it and fingers crossed it stays a regular in my skin care cabinet!

Have you used any Mario Badescu serums? Let me know what you think of them in the comments!
