The Little Things in Life That Make Me Happy

Being happy in every aspect of my life is a goal that sometimes feels unachievable. Sometimes life feels so unbalanced which can make me feel like I’m not getting the most out of it. Right now, I’m in this awkward phase of finishing uni for the year and beginning to work full-time. I’m tired but excited to get into the swing of things with H&M. So far, they have been an amazing company to work for so I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next few months. I thought today I would share with you all a few of the little things in life that make me super happy! Enjoy.

Waking up in the sun
My room has two massive windows which is so lovely in the morning. There’s nothing better than waking up on your day off with sun pouring through your windows. Instant mood boost!

Having flowers and plants in my room
I love filling my room with flowers and plants because it makes me feel like outdoors all the time. It looks so pretty with all my white linen and wooden furniture. There is something so relaxing about nature, so why not bring it inside as well.

Walking on the beach at night
Beaches in the day, and beaches in the night are so different. At night, the beach seems your own. All you can hear is the water and the sand meeting. I find it so calming and always feel refreshed afterwards.

Tidying my space
For any of you that know me well, you’ll know that I am a clean freak. Tidying up my room and making my bed are things that make me feel so relaxed and calm. I literally tidy my room every night before bed haha!

Surround myself with pretty things
One of my favourite things to collect are pretty ‘coffee table books’. You know those books that have such aesthetically pleasing covers that you’ll happily leave them on your coffee table? I have stacks of them in my room that I can flick through whenever I’m feeling bored or uninspired!

That’s all for today folks!

I love the sunshine! The sunniest spot in my house is the dining room in the afternoon! You’ll always find me sat there until sunset. It’s dreamy 🙂

Walking on the beach at night sounds amazing, I used to do that sometimes when I lived by the sea! I would also love to have plants in my room but I still live at home which means I have to keep allllll my stuff in my room so there’s too much clutter everywhere to have plants as well aha! When I move out though.

I can totally relate with all of them, except for the beach walk one. I can’t really go to the beach that often. Maybe once or twice a year, if I’ve got time. Lucky ones who can go to the beach so often!! 😊
An AMAZING blog post, if I may say. I love Your blog!!
